My then girlfriend told me "te quiero" just a couple of weeks into our relationship. I was flattered and confused at the same time, but couldn't tell her back.Then everything went incredibly smooth and I did told her, nearly everyday. In one year we married and had four children. We were together for 20 years loving each other, needing each other, telling to ourselves the love we felt.Then she died. I still love her, more than ever, and tell her every night.
